Who it's for
Engaged couples in England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland who want one file instead of six apps, and anyone helping plan a wedding (parents, maid of honour, best man) who needs the numbers and the guest list in the same place. Also a thoughtful engagement gift.
Why it's different
Most wedding spreadsheets are American: dollars, no registrar, no notice of marriage, no evening guests. This one uses UK categories and fees, separates day and evening guests, costs food and drink per head from the numbers you enter, and gives you a checklist written around how UK weddings actually work (give notice at least 29 days before, wedding insurance as soon as you pay a deposit, registrar interviews on the morning). It uses a planning date instead of TODAY(), so it gives the same answer in Excel, LibreOffice and on paper.

It's built and tested in Microsoft Excel 2016 or later, on Windows and Mac, and also works in LibreOffice. It isn't designed for Apple Numbers, and we don't claim Google Sheets support because we haven't tested it there.
How does it arrive?

Is it tax advice?
No. It's a record-keeping and planning tool with every figure visible and sourced. Check current rates on gov.uk or with an accountant before you file, especially if your situation is unusual.
What if something is wrong with the file?
